Farklı taban fonksiyonları ve en iyi lineer yaklaştırım

Abstract

Bu tezde Bijan Bidabad'nun "L_1 Norm Based Computational Algorithms" adlı makalesi incelenmiştir ve bu tez toplam altı bölümden oluşmuştur. Birinci bölümde giriş kısmı bulunmakta olup burada tezin amacını belirttik. İkinci bölümde tez için gerekli olan bazı temel tanım ve kavramları verdik. Üçüncü bölümde fonksiyonlara polinomlar üzerinden en iyi yaklaştırımın varlığının sağlanması için gerekli bazı koşulları verdik. Dördüncü bölümde sürekli ve ayrık fonksiyonlara en iyi yaklaştırımın farklı normlar üzerinde nasıl karakterize edildiğini inceledik. Beşinci bölümde sürekli ve ayrık fonksiyonlara polinomlar üzerinden en iyi yaklaştırımın tekliği için koşulları ele aldık. Son bölümde sürekli fonksiyonlara Gauss Quadrature yardımı ile l_1 normunda en iyi yaklaştırımı ele alan matlab çalışmamız oldu

In this thesis, it's studied the paper "L_1 Norm Based Computational Algorithms" by Bijan Bidabad and this thesis consists six chapters. The first chapter includes the purpose of the thesis. In the second chapter, we present some basic definitions and useful notions. In the third chapter, we give some necessary conditions in order to satisfy the existence of the best approximation of the functions in terms of polynomials. In the fourth chapter, we examine how it is characterized the best approximation to continuous and discrete functions on different norms. In the fifth chapter, we give some necessary conditions in order to satisfy the uniqueness of the best approximation of the functions in terms of polynomials. In the last section we write matlab codes which computes the best approximation on l_1 norm to continuous function with the help of Gauss Quadrature.
