Lojistikte taşımacılık kapsamında sevkiyat konsolidasyonu ve uluslararası bir üretim firmasının ihracat nakliyelerinin modellenmesi

Abstract

Uluslararası platformda yer alan firmalar, gittikçe kızışan rekabet ortamında faaliyetlerini sürdürebilmek için maliyetlerini azaltma yollarına başvurmaktadırlar. Maliyet azaltma söz konusu olduğunda lojistik, gittikçe önem kazanan faaliyetler arasında yer almaktadır. Benzer ürünlerin üretim maliyetlerinin de benzer olduğu bir ortamda rekabet avantajı elde edebilen üreticiler lojistik maliyetlerini düşürebilenlerdir. Bu bağlamda taşımacılık yönetimi altında maliyet hesaplama ve fiyatlandırma, üzerinde durulması gereken bir konu olmuştur. Sevkiyat konsolidasyonu, aynı varış noktasına sahip birden fazla küçük miktarlı siparişin birleştirilerek tek bir araçla gönderilmesini sağlayan lojistik stratejidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, lojistik kapsamında nakliye maliyetlerini azaltan teorik bir model geliştirerek modelin geçerliliğini gerçek durumlarda sınamak ve yaratılabilecek büyük tasarruf imkânlarının önemini vurgulamaktır. Bunun için fiyatlandırma ve zaman bazlı sevkiyat konsolidasyonun birleştirilmiş optimizasyonu incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın getirisi olarak, fiyat ve zaman duyarlılığı bulunan lojistik faaliyetlerin iyileştirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın çıkış noktası, sevkiyat konsolidasyonu ile optimize edilen nakliye maliyetlerinin ürün fiyatlarını düşürerek talebi etkilemesidir. En uygun fiyatın belirlenebilmesi sipariş – tedarik oranlarını etkileyebilir ve tasarruf sağlanmasına sebep olabilir. Sevkiyat konsolidasyonu ile ortaya çıkan bu tasarruflar uygun fiyatlandırma stratejileri ile fazladan kâr sağlanmasına sebep olabilir. Çalışmanın son bölümlerinde taşımacılıkta maliyet hesaplama ve fiyatlandırma üzerinde durulmuş ve uluslararası bir üretim firmasının ihracat nakliyeleri modellenerek %20'ye varan tasarruf sağlanmıştır.

Companies having place at international platform, have to reduce their costs to continue their actions in the growing competitive environment. When cost reduction is considered, logistics is one of the increasingly important activities. As similar products have similar production costs, taking advantage on competition depends on reducing the transportation costs. In this manner costing and pricing under transportation management became an important subject worth to study on. Shipment consolidation is a logistics strategy that combines two or more orders or shipments with same destination as a larger quantity that can be dispatched on the same vehicle. The purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical model and test its effectiveness with realistic cases to reduce transportation costs within the scope of logistics so can emphasize the importance of saving opportunities created. Therefore the joint optimization of pricing and time based shipment consolidation policy is examined. As the return of this study, the optimization of price and time sensitive logistics activities is intended. The main motivation of this study is based on the impact of production prices, reduced by shipment consolidation, on demand. Determination of the most convenient price may affect order – supply ratio and provide savings enabling additional profit with suitable pricing decision. Costing and pricing in transportation studied under transportation management and at the end of this study, up to 20% saving provided by planning the exportation transports of an international manufacturer company.
