Abstract

Pollution prevention means eliminating or reducing at source the use, generation or release of toxic chemicals, hazardous materials or solid waste. This can be done through increased efficiency in the use of raw materials, energy, water or other resources, or through the protection of natural resources by conservation [1]. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
