Özet
Smart Materials for Environmental Recovery.Oil-water contamination is a global issue, with serious impacts on ecosystems and the environment. Materials with tunable wettability characteristics have emerged to separate oil-water mixtures and emulsions. This two-volume set (1407, 1408) presents fundamental principles and mechanistic views of oil-water separation processes and wetting theories. This volume highlights specific cutting-edge materials: Metal-organic frameworks, hydrogels, dispersants, microorganisms, enzymes, and self-cleaning materials, to name a few. Chemical engineers, materials scientists, and environmental chemists in industry and academia will find this work especially helpful. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
