| dc.description.abstract | This paper shows that the Faraday effect is enhanced up to 250 times when an infrared electromagnetic wave is obliquely incident on a structured film of yttrium iron garnet deposited on a quartz substrate. This structure can be used to develop efficient magneto-optical devices that require polarization conversion of waves, particularly for photon-magnon frequency converters from the microwave to the optical range. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved. | |
