Kars'ta Rus hakimiyeti döneminde (1878-1918) inşa edilen konutların genel mimari özellikleri ve günümüzdeki koruma sorunlarının topçu evi örneklemi üzerinden irdelenmesi

Abstract

Çalışmanın esasını Kars'ta Rus hakimiyeti döneminde (1878-1918) inşa edildiği bilinen "Topçu Evi" oluşturmaktadır. Giriş bölümü, amaç ve kapsam-yöntem şeklinde iki başlıkta incelenir. Bu kısımda çalışmanın içeriğine, kapsamına, ne amaçla yazıldığına ve süreç boyunca hangi yöntemlerin kullanıldığına dair genel bilgiler aktarılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Kars'ın coğrafi konumu ve tarihçesine değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Osmanlı, Çarlık Rusya ve Cumhuriyet Dönemi'nde Kars kentinin gelişim tarihinden detaylıca bahsedilmiştir. Kars'ta Çarlık Rusya Dönemi'nde gelişen konut dokusu dördüncü bölümü oluşturmaktadır. Bu kısımda dönem konutlarının mimari özellikleri, planlama anlayışı, cephe özellikleri, yapım tekniği ve malzemeleri anlatılmaktadır. Çalışmanın merkezini belirleyen beşinci bölüm Topçu Evi örneklemine detaylıca değinmektedir. Bu bölümde yapının konumu, tarihçesi, mimari özellikleri, tespit edilen bozulmaları ve restitüsyon kararlarını içeren başlıklar bulunmaktadır. Mimari özellikleri, kendi içinde yapısal unsurların anlatıldığı başlıklar halinde incelenmiştir. Altıncı bölümde müdahale kararları ve içerdiği alt başlıklar incelenmiştir. Sonuç kısmı ise önceki başlıkların genel değerlendirmesini yaparak Topçu Evi'nin örneklemi kapsamında dönem yapılarının koruma sorunlarına ve bu sorunların çözüm önerilerine yer vermektedir.

The basis of the study is the "Topçu House", which is known to have been built during the Russian rule in Kars (1878-1918). The introduction part is examined under two headings as purpose and scope-method. In this section, general information about the content and scope of the study, for what purpose it was written and which methods were used throughout the process were given. In the second part, the geographical location and history of Kars are mentioned. In the third chapter, the history of the development of the city of Kars in the Ottoman, Tsarist Russia and Republican Periods is mentioned in detail. The residential texture that developed in Kars during the Tsarist Russian Period constitutes the fourth section. In this section, the architectural features, planning approach, facade features, construction technique and materials of the period houses are explained. The fifth chapter, which determines the center of the study, touches on the Topçu House sample in detail. In this section, there are titles including the location of the building, its history, architectural features, the detected deteriorations and restitution decisions. Its architectural features have been examined under the headings in which the structural elements are explained. In the sixth chapter, the intervention decisions and the sub-headings they contain are examined. The conclusion part, by making a general evaluation of the previous titles, gives place to the conservation problems of the period structures and solutions to these problems within the scope of the Topçu House's sample.
