Antalya pamuklu dokuma fabrikası'nın mimari analizi ve kentsel hayata kazandırılması için öneriler

Abstract

Türkiye'nin Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi'ne ait endüstri mirası örneklerinden olan, Antalya kentinin işsizlik ve açlık sorununu çözmek üzere 1956 yılında temeli atılan ve 1961 yılında üretime geçen, Antalya Pamuklu Dokuma Fabrikası, Antalya'daki ilk kapsamlı sanayi hamlesidir. Kurulduğu günden itibaren Antalya'nın ve Türkiye'nin sosyo-ekonomik ve sosyo-kültürel gelişiminde önemli rol oynamış, tarımdan sanayiye geçiş sürecinde büyük ölçüde istihdam sağlamıştır. Fabrika 2003 yılında ekonomik ömrünü tamamladıktan sonra, kentin yaşam kalitesini artırmak amacıyla halka açık eğitim, kültür sanat ve rekreasyon alanı olarak düzenlenmiştir. Endüstri Mirası olan Antalya Pamuklu Dokuma Fabrikasının kentsel dönüşüm kapsamında yenilenme uygulamasını irdeleyen bu tez çalışması 5 bölümden oluşmaktadır. 1. bölümünde Türkiye'de dönüşüm kapsamına alınan endüstri mirası örnekleri irdelenerek tezin amaç, kapsam ve yöntemi belirtilmiştir. 2. bölümde Pamuklu Dokuma Fabrikası ile ilgili genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Tesisin şehir içindeki konumu ve tarihçesi anlatılmıştır. 3. bölümde tesiste korunması gereken nitelikli yapıların 2009 yılı tespitlerine yer verilmiştir. 4. Bölümde restorasyon sonrası yeniden işlevlendirilen yapıların işlev, plan, cephe, yapım tekniği ve malzeme yönünden değişimleri analiz edilmiştir. 5. bölümde ise sonuç ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.Antalya Cotton Weaving Factory, one of the examples of industrial heritage belongs toEarly Republican Era of Turkey, started to construction in 1956 and started production in 1961 to solve the unemployment and economic problems of the city of Antalya. This factory was the first comprehensive entrepreneurship in the industry field of Antalya. Since its establishment, it has played crucial role in the socio-economical and sociocultural development of both Antalya and Turkey, and provided a significant employment during the agriculture-industry transition period. After its economic life cycle expired in 2003, the factory was organized as a public education, culture, arts and recreation area in order to improve the quality of the city. This thesis describes the adaptive reuse process of Antalya Cotton Weaving Factory,which is an example of Early Republican Era Industrial Heritage of Turkey, within the 5 sections. In the first section, the industrial heritage examples in Turkey, which were subjected to renovation were described and relevant purpose, scope and method were specified. In the second section, general information about Antalya Cotton Weaving Factory was given. The history of the complex, and its location in the city, were explained. In the third section, the 2009 architectural analysis of the qualified structures that need to be protected in the facility are given. In the fourth section the function, plan, façade, construction techniques, material changes of the structures after the renovation is analyzed. In the last section, conclusion and suggestions are stated.
