Özet
Recently, the contamination rate of water sources has dramatically increased due to the growing population and improvements. As the most efficient wastewater treatmentWastewater treatment route, adsorptionAdsorption driven by carbonaceous materials has been utilized because of their significant properties, namely large specific surface area and high functionality. Moreover, the development of carbon-based adsorbent from agricultural sources provides an environmentally friendly and sustainable removal process. Thus, carbon fiberCarbon fibernanomaterialsNanomaterials (CNFs) with a high surface area were synthesized by a simple calcination method and their absorptive abilities were systemically examined in nicotineNicotine removal system. This study offers promising adsorbents for the treatment of wastewater driven by tobacco manufacturing processes. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
