İçme suyu havzalarının coğrafi bilgi sistemi uygulamaları kapsamında ele alınması ve çalışmanın getirileri

Abstract

Water suply and protection are in responsibilities of Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKl). Water catchment areas are protected according to the "2002 issued Protection and Control of Water Catchment Areas Regulation". İSKİ also controls the urbanization in these areas according to the mentioned regulation. Existing control procedures of catchment areas are examined with sample applications in the first section of this thesis. In the second part of my thesis, it is explanied how ISKI should perform it's essential duty in a developing and changing world with the help of the decision support systems of the existing and proposed information system. The administrative and technical structure and developed applications. ISKABIS project is also examined with it's problems and suggestions. In the last section, the cost of the project and the helps to ISKI are explained.
