Mimarlık eğitiminde depremin yeri ve depremin eğitsel boyutu: Van örnekleminde algısal yargılara dayalı bir araştırma

Abstract

Türkiye topraklarının %92'si deprem bölgesi içerisinde yer almaktadır. Nüfusunun ise yaklaşık %95'i deprem tehlikesi altında yaşamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, deprem / afet konusu ile ilişkili olarak mimarın rolü, "Disiplinler arası İlişkiler", "Planlama ile ilgili süreçler", "Depreme Dayanıklı Yapı Tasarım Süreci", "Depreme Dayanıklı Yapı Üretim ve Denetim Süreci", "Deprem Sonrası İyileşme, Yeniden Yapılanma Süreci" gibi çeşitli boyutlarıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın alan çalışması, 2011 yılında "Van Depremi" felaketini yaşayan Van ilinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Genel teması, "Yapı Tasarım Üretim Denetim Süreçlerinde yer alan Mimarların Depreme / Afete Yönelik Algısal Tutumları" olan alan çalışması, kentte etkin olarak tasarım yapan, yapı üretim ve denetim süreçlerinde yer alan mimarların 'deprem' olgusuna bakış açısını tespit etmek, depremin mimarlık eğitimindeki yeri konusundaki düşüncelerini sorgulamak, "depreme dayanıklı tasarım" konularına olan genel ilgilerini, haberdar olma durumlarını, bilinçlerini değerlendirmek amacı ile düzenlenmiştir. Bulgular , Türkiye geneli için de, saptamalar içermektedir. Çalışmanın bütünsel çerçevede, deprem / afet olgusuyla ilişkili olarak "mimarlık eğitimine", "mimarlık profesyonel meslek alanına" ve dolayısıyla ülkenin "mimarlık uygulamasına ve politikasına" katkıda bulunacağı düşünülmektedir.92 percent of Turkey's lands consist of seismic zones. As for It's population, 95 percent of it's population is under the threat of the earthquakes. In this study, regarding to earthquakes, role of the architect is evaluated according to the different subjects such as; "interdisciplinary relations", "procedures related to planning", "the process of earthquake resistant structural design", "the process of production of earthquake resistant structural design and quality control process", "recovery and restructuring process after an earthquake". The field work of this study has been carried out in the city of Van which has experienced the disaster of "Van Earthquake". General theme has been regulated in order to assess the the field work; "perceptual manners of architects who have involved in the process of structural desing, building audit", "to identify the ideas of the architects, ideas which are the facts about earthquakes, who have effectively been designing and have involved in the process of structural design", "to question the thought of importance of the earthquake in the field of architectural education", "to assess their collective consciousness and knowledge of earthquake resistant structural designs". Findings implicate determinations for Turkey as well. Overall, the study is considered to be useful in contributing to the architectural education related to the fact of the earthquake, to "the field of the professional architecture", thus to the architectural practice and policy.
