Özet
Visible light communication (VLC) is a promising technique to provide connectivity to users while providing illumination. To further improve the data rates of VLC systems, multiple sources that transmit multiple simultaneous data streams can be used. This Letter proposes a novel mixture model for VLC systems that make use of multiple sources to provide sufficient flexibility to accurately model the received signal levels for enabling better system designs. The validity of the proposed model is empirically verified through a set of real-life measurements.
