Abstract

Konuşan kişiyi tanıma, Biyometrik alanının bir parçası olup, kişiyi, kendisine özgü olan ses özelliklerinden tanımayı hedeflemektedir. Bankacılık gibi güvenliğin gerekli olduğu alanlarda, sesle aramada, veritabanı erişimi hizmetlerinde, sesli posta iletisi gönderiminde ve bilgisayarlara uzaktan erişimde kullanılabilir. Aynı zamanda kriminal laboratuarlarında, kişileri ses örneklerinden teşhis etmek için de kullanılabilir Bu tezde bilinen bir konuşmacı tanıma algoritması irdelenmiş, yeni bir karşılaştırma algoritması önerilmiştir. Test sonuçlarının gösterdiği üzere önerilen algoritma mevcut algoritmaya göre daha başarılı olmuştur.

Speaker recognition is a part of the Biometrics, which aims to recognize" who is speaking on the basis of individual information included in speech waves. This technique is useful to access to services such as voice dialing, banking by telephone, database access services, voice mail, and remote access to computers where security is required. At the same time it can be used to identify persons from their speech samples in forensics investigations. In this thesis, a known speaker recognition algorithm is investigated and a new modified algorithm is proposed. Tests show that the new algorithm performs better then the known algorithm.
