dc.description.abstractBis-azido containing Anderson-type inorganic POM was functionalized with organic mono- and di-styryl BODIPY dyes for the first time, and two novel compounds have been designed, synthesized and fully characterized. Photophysical properties of these compounds investigated via UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy techniques and compared with their precursor BODIPYs. The new inorganic-organic hybrids showed remarkable photophysical properties like their precursor BODIPYs. These hybrids can be offered as photosensitizers in different application areas like solar energy conversion processes and hydrogen evolution reactions (HER). [GRAPHICS] .
