The null boundary controllability for the Mullins equation with periodic boundary conditions

Abstract

This paper studies the null controllability of the Mullins equation with a con-trol acting on the periodic boundary. The main result proves that the system is controllable for a specific class of initial conditions and also identifies un-controllable states. Additionally, the existence and uniqueness theorem for the solution of the backward adjoint system is provided.
