In this study, the dielectric constant theory of TlInS2 and TlGaSe2 crystals has been investigated using a new method proposed by Mikailzade et al. It has been determined that the ferrolectric phase transitions of the crystals are of first-order and second-order incommensurate phase transitions. These transitions have been observed to occur at temperatures Tc1 and Tc2, respectively. The total free energy density of the two sublattice polarizations of the ferroeletric crystal has been considered. For the first-order incommensurability, the obtained free energy density expression was derived by expanding the Landau free energy series with respect to the Q variable. A similar modeling process was applied for the second-order incommensurability to separately derive the dielectric susceptibility expressions. The results demonstrate how the dielectric constant of TlInS2 and TlGaSe2 crystals changes with temperature. This allows for a thorough understanding of the properties of complex materials and the development of models based on solid mathematical and physical foundations. The study presents a comprehensive modeling and theoretical approach to understanding ferroeletric crystal phase transitions and analyzing how these transitions affect dielectric properties.
