Özet
Development of clean and reliable energy sources has gained lots of attention from scientists worldwide and this technology has covered related to the efficient transformation of organic matter into biogas. Biofuels are one of the biotechnological products placed into the energy industry with the benefits over conventional energy resources to meet the demands as renewable energy sources and other environmental-friendly features including low-CO2 emissions. A well-known approach to anaerobic digestion has been widely studied in order to enhance its performance and biogas yield from organic waste substances. Various kinds of methodologies are conducted for the improvement of the digestion process based on the feedstocks used, pretreatment strategies, operational parameters, and four serial reactions which are finalized with the production of methane together with a by-product of CO2. All processes are considerable by providing effective products to meet demand through low-cost design, higher production, and recycling for environmental contributions. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
