Özet
Designing usable and secure interfaces has become a necessity in today’s complicated structure of web applications. The widespread belief about the relation of these subjects is that there is a trade-off between them, and to provide state-of-the-art secure and user-friendly user interfaces, they should be implemented and considered separately. However, they need to be assumed as an inseparable subject and designed together to maximize performance. In this study, a conceptual model is created to determine the characteristics that can measure the usability and security level of a given interface and to guide the creation of systematic approaches by using these characteristics. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
