Aktif çamur biyokütlesi üzerine farklı etken maddelere sahip antibiyotik türlerinin toksisite etkisinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Türkiye'de satışı en fazla olan ilaç grubu antibiyotiklerdir ve genel olarak bakıldığında %32'si reçetesiz olarak tüketiciye ulaşmaktadır. Bu yüzde antibiyotiklerin bilinçsiz kullanımının ciddi boyutlarda olduğunu göstermektedir. Enfeksiyonun hemen kontrol altına alınmak istenmesi, hastasına en iyi tedavi uygulamak isteyen hekimin "en geniş spektrumlu ve en pahalı antibiyotik en iyi antibiyotiktir" yanılgısı, enfeksiyon olmaksızın kullanılması, antibiyotiklerin bilinçsiz kullanımına sebep olabilecek durumlardır.İzmit Tütünçiftlik Evsel Atıksu Arıtma Tesisi'nin biyolojik arıtma prosesinden alınan aktif çamur biyokütlesi üzerinde farklı etken maddeleri ( klaritromisin, levoflaksasin, siproflaksasin, sefazolin sodyum, sefuroksim sodyum, ampisilin+ sulbaktam) içeren antibiyotik türlerinin toksik etkileri incelenmiştir.Aktif çamur sistemlerinin işletilmesinde önemli bir problem olan antibiyotik toksisitesi, farklı konsantrasyon ve farklı etken maddelere bağlı olarak solunum hızı prensibine göre incelenmiştir. Etken maddesi ampisilin+sulbaktam olan antibiyotik türü ilavesi sonucunda eklenen hacimdeki artmaya bağlı olarak solunum hızı azalmış ve toksisite değeri artarak %85'lere ulaşmıştır. Bir diğer etken maddesi olan levoflaksasin'in %34lük bir toksik etki hesaplanmış ve diğer incelenen etken maddelerin içinde daha az toksik etki yaptığı gözlenmiştir

The medicine group that has the biggest sale in Turkey is antibiotics and generally 32% of them are taken by the consumer without prescriptions. This percentage shows how serious is the rate of unconscious usage of antibiotics. The antibiotics take infection under control immediately, ?the most expensive and antibiotics with widest spectrum are the best ones? delusion of doctor?s who want to apply the best treatment to their patients and the usage without infection are the examples that cause antibiotics to be used unsuitably.The toxic effect of antibiotic species that contain various effective substances (clarythromycin, levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, ampicillin+sulbaktam, cephazolin sodium, cefuroxim sodium) on active sludge biomass which were taken from the biologic treatment process of the Izmit Tutunciftlik Sewage Treatment Plant was investigated.Toxicity, which has a significant problem on active sludge system process, was calculated by the examination of the effect of the effective substances on the respiration rate depending on different volumes.As a result of adding ampicillin+sulbaktam antibiotic species at different volumes, the respiration rate decreased and the toxicity value increased up to 85 %. However another effective substance, levofloxacin, reached only up to 34 % toxicity and it was observed that this antibiotic showed much lower toxicity effect compared to the other antibiotics used in this study.
