Stratejik yeraltı kaynakları jeoopolitiği

Abstract

Yeraltı kaynaklan tarihin her döneminde insanlar için önemli olmuşlar ve bu yüzden de sömürgeci hegamonik güçlerin hedefini oluşturmuşlardır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sömürgeci çekişmelerin temelinde stratejik yeraltı kaynaklarının bulunduğu varsayımından hareketle uluslararası güç dengesi ilişkilerinin açıklanarak geleceğe yönelik çıkarımlarda bulunmaktır. Ele aldığımız varsayımın açıklanması için önce stratejik yeraltı kaynaklarının kıstasları belirtilmiş ve daha sonra bu kıstaslara göre belirli dönemlerde stratejik olan madenler ele alınmış, geleceğe dönük açılım boyutunda ise bor mineralleri ve ülkemiz açısından önemi değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak yeraltı kaynaklarının söz konusu önemlerinin, özellikle teknolojinin ilerlemesine bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan enerji ihtiyacı sebebiyle daha da artacağı, ülkemizin de bulunduğu konum itibariyle enerji terminali olacağı görüşüne varılmıştır.

The underground resources are very important for human beings in all parts of the history, and so that they are target of the colonial hegemonic forces. In this study, we try to explain the struggle for power in the international relations basing on the view that strategic underground resources are the fundamental causes of the conflicts among colonial or super powers. First we define the concept and historical development of "the strategic underground resources". Then we focus specifically on the strategic mineral of boron and its importance for our country. Finally, we concluded that the strategic importance of underground resources will be increased depending on the increase in the energy needs resulting from technological advances, and that our country's importance in the international politics will be improved not only because of its rich resources but also because of its strategic location on the cross roads of energy transportation.
