Özet
Wi-Fi hotspot technology has revolutionized Internet access, especially in public spaces. Originating as a convenient solution for providing temporary Internet access, these hotspots have become ubiquitous in cafes, airports, restaurants, and even public squares. However, today's existing Wi-Fi hotspot solutions have significant deficiencies in areas such as easy access, compatibility with different services and applications, global hotspot roaming, legal log management, Virtual Private Network (VPN) connectivity, and customization flexibility. Building on this foundation, this study aims to further examine the complexities of Wi-Fi hotspot management by leveraging the latest cloud innovations. This study offers an innovative approach to Wi-Fi hotspot management by leveraging the power of cloud platform. The proposed CloudSpot system provides various features such as centralized hotspot roaming capabilities, a variety of authentication services, seamless integration between hardware and software through a proprietary API, and log management of users and devices. Through this enhanced platform, the system has potential to revolutionize the way Wi-Fi hotspots are managed, ensuring accessibility and reliability for users everywhere. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
