Erp sistemlerinin sürdürülebilir başarısı ve etkileri: Odak grup analizi

Abstract

İşletmelerin doğru kararları verebilmesi ve rekabetçi koşullarda varlığını sürdürebilmesi için iş süreçlerini ve operasyonel verilerini doğru ve anlık şekilde takip edebiliyor olması günümüz koşullarında büyük bir önem arz etmektedir. Bu noktada işletmeler büyüdükçe ve iş süreçleri karmaşık hale geldikçe karar alıcılar, güvenebilecekleri ve verimli bir şekilde kullanabilecekleri verilere ihtiyaç duyarlar. İşletmelerinde anlık olarak neler olduğunu ve işletmenin hangi durumda olduğunu anlayıp doğru bir şekilde karar vermek isterler. Bu ihtiyaçlar göz önüne alındığında, birçok işletme bir Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama (ERP) sistemi satın almayı düşünmeye başlar. Satın alma kararından önce işletmenin ihtiyaçları ve kriterleri net olarak belirlenmeli ve buna uygun şekilde program ve tedarikçi firma seçimi yapılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada 12 farklı firmadaki toplamda 18 çalışan ile birlikte 3 farklı odak grup görüşmesi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış bu görüşmeler sonucu elde edilen bulgular ile araştırmanın ampirik bölümü oluşturulmuştur. Oturumdaki katılımcılar SAP Business One programını aktif olarak kullanan kişilerden oluşmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmanın ardından araştırma konusu olan ERP yazılım ve tedarikçi seçimindeki kriterler, ERP'nin sistemlerinin işletmelere etkileri, ERP geçiş sırasında ve sonrasında yaşanan zorluklar odak grup görüşmelerinden elde edilen bulgular ile birlikte analiz edilmiştir.

In today's conditions, it is of great importance for businesses to be able to follow their business processes and operational data accurately and instantly in order to make the right decisions and maintain their existence in competitive conditions. At this point, as businesses grow and business processes become more complex, decision makers need data that they can trust and use efficiently. They want to understand what is happening in their business instantly and in what state the business is and want to make the right decision. Considering these needs, many firms begin to consider purchasing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Before the purchasing decision, the needs and criteria of the business should be clearly determined and the program and supplier company should be selected accordingly. In this study, a focus group interview was conducted with 3 different working groups with 18 different employees in 12 different companies. The empirical part of the research was formed with the findings obtained as a result of these semi-structured interviews. Participants in the session consist of people who actively use the SAP Business One, ERP software. After the study, the criteria in the selection of ERP software and supplier, which are the subject of research, the effects of ERP systems on businesses, the difficulties experienced during and after the ERP transition were analyzed together with the findings obtained from the focus group interviews.
