dc.description.abstractTulczyjew's triples are constructed for the Schmidt-Legendre transformations of both second and third-order Lagrangians. Symplectic diffeomorphisms relating the Ostrogradsky-Legendre and the Schmidt-Legendre transformations are derived. Several examples are presented.
