Özet
Since their first release, lithium-ion batteries have been increasingly used in portable electronics, transportation and renewable energy applications. Their market share hugely expanded especially in the last decade. One of the favorable lithium based chemistries with high specific power, long cycle life and high level of safety is lithium-titanate-oxide (LTO) and nickelmanganese-cobalt (NMC) combination. In this work a temperature dependent equivalent circuit battery model for LTO/NMC batteries is presented. After developing the model for a commercially available 13 Ah cell from data collected at different temperatures, the simulation results were compared with actual results for validation purpose. The model behavior is in good agreement with the physical cell. © 2021 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
