Özet
Today, terrestrial laser scanning has been a frequently used methodology for the documentation of historical buildings and cultural heritages. The historical peninsula region is the documentation of historical buildings and cover approximately 1500 ha. Terrestrial laser scanning and close range image photogrammetry techniques are integrated to each other to create a 3D urban model of Istanbul including the most important landmarks and the buildings reflecting the most brilliant areas of Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
