IPv6 ağlar için güvenli DHCP sistem tasarımı

Abstract

Internet'in hızlı gelişimi ile IPv4 protokolü, yerini yakın gelecekte IPv6protokolüne bırakacaktır. IPv6 protokolünün yapısı gereği, adres dağıtımı veyönetiminin otomatik olarak yapılması gereklidir. Bu ise, dinamik konakyapılandırma protokolü (DHCP) ile mümkündür.DHCP protokolü, birçok güvenlik açığına sahip olmasına rağmen sağladığıkolaylıklar nedeni ile günümüzde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Fiziksel güvenliğinsağlandığı yerel alan ağlarında DHCP istemci ve sunumcuları için iç tehditler dışındaçok fazla risk olmamasına karşın, özellikle kablosuz ağlarda fiziksel güvenliğinolmaması nedeni ile dış unsurlar çok büyük riskler doğurmaktadır.Bu çalışmada, IPv6 protokolü için güvenli DHCPv6 sunumcu ve istemcitasarımı yapılarak gerçeklenmiştir. Gerçeklenen sunumcu ve istemci için güvenliksınamaları yapılarak sonuçlar verilmiştir.With the rapid growth of the Internet, IPv4 protocol will leave its duty to IPv6in the near future. Due to the nature of IPv6, address distribution and administrationhave to be done automatically. This is possible with the help of Dynamic HostConfiguration Protocol (DHCP).Although the DHCP protocol has a lot of security deficiencies, it is beingwidely used for its easiness in applications nowadays. Despite the fact that there arenot so many risks other than internal threats for the DHCP client and server in localarea networks where physical security is provided, external elements constitute greatrisks in wireless networks (i.e. Physical security is not present).In this work, the secure DHCPv6 client and server applications were designedand implemented. Security tests were done for the implemented client and server,and the results were given.
