Projelerde kullanılan çevik metodun iş süreçlerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile çevik metotlar arasında önemli bir yeri olan Scrum metodunun iş süreçlerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Scrum metodu, çevik yazılım geliştirme yöntemleri arasında dünya üzerinde sıklıkla tercih edilmeye başlanan bir yöntem haline gelmiştir. Türkiye'de de son yıllarda artan bir şekilde firmaların proje yönetim süreçlerinde yerini almaya başlamıştır. Ülkemizde yapılan çalışmalarda çoğunlukla Scrum ve proje başarısı arasındaki ilişkinin incelendiği gözlemlenmiştir. Ancak Scrum metodunun iş süreçleri üzerindeki etkisinin araştırıldığı çalışmalara oldukça az rastlanmaktadır. Literatürdeki bu boşluğu da doldurmak amaçlı bu çalışmada Scrum metodunun iş süreçlerine ve çalışan memnuniyetine olan etkisini ölçmek için bir bankanın çalışanlarına anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Anket çalışmasında katılımcılara demografik soruların ardından Scrum yöntemini uygulama şekilleri ve yönteme bakış açılarını dair sorular sorulmuştur. Ankete 108 kişi katılım sağlamış ve verilen cevaplar SPSS kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Anket sonucunda veriler parametrik dağılım göstermediğinden Spearman Korelasyon Analizi, Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis testleri ile cevaplar analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Scrum yönteminin iş süreçlerini etkileyen unsurları ile çalışan memnuniyeti arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.This study aims to examine the effect of the Scrum method, which has an important place among agile methods, on business processes. The Scrum method has become a frequently preferred method among agile software development methods around the world. In Turkey, it has increasingly started to take its place in the project management processes of companies in recent years. It has been observed that studies conducted in our country mostly examine the relationship between Scrum and project success. However, studies investigating the effect of the Scrum method on business processes are very rare. In order to fill this gap in the literature, in this study, a survey was applied to the employees of a bank to measure the effect of the Scrum method on business processes and employee satisfaction. In the survey, participants were asked questions about their application of the Scrum method and their perspectives on the method, following demographic questions. 108 people participated in the survey and the answers were analyzed using SPSS. Since the data did not show a parametric distribution as a result of the survey, the answers were analyzed using Spearman Correlation Analysis, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis tests. As a result, it has been observed that there is a significant relationship between the elements of the Scrum method that affect business processes and employee satisfaction.
