Sakarya/Taraklı'da Vidadiye Gencay evi restorasyon projesi ve çevresindeki tarihi doku için rehabilitasyon önerileri

Abstract

Taraklı, tarihi dokusunu ve karakteristik mimari özelliklerini günümüze kadar sürdürmeyi başarmış bir Osmanlı yerleşkesidir. Bünyesinde çoğunluğu 19. yüzyıla ait olan çok sayıda tarihi yapı bulundurmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Bursa Kültür ve Tabiat Varlıklarını Koruma Kurulu tarafından Kentsel Sit Alanı ilan edilerek koruma altına alınmıştır. Taraklı'nın geleneksel dokusunun korunabilmesi için çevresel ve yapısal ölçekte koruma önlemlerinin alınması gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışmada Taraklı'da bulunan, B.K.T.V.K.K. tarafından tescillenmiş ve 20. yy başında inşa edilmiş, hakkında herhangi bilimsel çalışma ve mimari tespit çalışması bulunmayan Vidadiye Gencay Evi ele alınmıştır. Yapının konumu, geçmişi, mimari özellikleri incelenmiş, fotoğraf ve rölöve çalışmalarıyla mevcut durumu belgelenmiştir. Yapısal ve çevresel ölçekte koruma sorunları saptanmıştır. Mevcut izler ve benzer dönem konut yapılarının incelenmesi sonucunda restitüsyon çalışması hazırlanmıştır. Yapının özgün niteliklerini koruyarak varlığını sürdürebilmesi için işlev ve restorasyon müdahaleleri önerilmiştir. Bu yolla Vidadiye Gencay Evi'nin kültürel bir değer ve tarihi bir belge niteliğiyle sonraki nesillere aktarılması ve içinde bulunduğu geleneksel dokunun yaşamasına katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma kapsamında, belirlenen sınırlı alan için mimari analizler yapılarak koruma sorunları saptanmış, çözüm önerileri geliştirilerek öneri silüet çalışmaları hazırlanmıştır.

Taraklı is an Ottoman settlement that has maintained its historical texture and characteristic architectural features to the present day. It has many historical buildings, mostly built in 19th century. Therefore, it has been declared as an Urban Protected Area by the Bursa Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board. In order to preserve the traditional settlement, the preservation measures should be taken on an environmental and structural scale. In this study, Vidadiye Gencay House in Taraklı, which does not have any scientific and architectural documentation studies about it, has been registered by B.K.T.V.K.K. The house was built in the early 20th century . In this study the location, history, architectural features of the building were examined and their current status was documented with photographs and surveys. Structural and environmental preservation problems identified. As a result of existing traces and similar period housing structures, restitution study was prepared. New function and restoration interventions have been proposed in order to preserve the original features of the structure. In this way, it is aimed to transfer the Vidadiye Gencay House as a cultural value and historical document to the next generations and to contribute to the traditional settlement. For this purpose, conservation problems were determined by architectural analyzes for the limited surrounding historic area identified, suggestions were developed and proposal silhouette studies were prepared.
