Bilgisayar ağlarında firewall ile güvenlik

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında yerel ve geniş bilgisayar ağlarında firewall tekniği ile güvenliğinin sağlanmasına çalışılmıştır. Öncelikle ağ güvenliği için gerekli kavramlar ve tanımlar gibi tanıtım bilgileri verilmiştir. Yine ağ güvenliği için firewall bileşenleri açıklanmış ve basit bir firewall tasarımı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Özel şirketin bilgi teknolojisi alt yapısı tanıtılarak güvenlik problemleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu problemleri gidermek için gerçek dünyadan bir firewall ürünü olarak Check Point Technologies firmasının FireWall-1 ürünü seçilmiştir. Ayrıca FireWall-1 seçilme kriterleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu yazılımın tanıtımı ve özelliklerinden bahsedilerek mevcut ağlara kurulumu üzerinde durulmuştur. Tespit edilen güvenlik problemleri için örnek güvenlik politikaları belirlenmiş ve bu politikalar için gerekli ayarlamalar yapılmıştır.

In this study, it was tried to provide security in the internal and external network by firewall technique. First of all, it was given information about the needed concepts and definitions for network security. Firewall components were explained and a simple firewall was designed. The commercial firm was introduced and it's security problems established. To avoid the security problems of this firm, a firewall product was choosen from the real world called Check Point Technologies FireWall-1 and then was given information about the criterion of this product. Then the product was introduced and talked about it's features. It was told about implementation of the software to the current networks. The sample security policies was determined for the security problems that was determined and the required configuration was made for these policies.
