Anlatıcı-mekân ilişkisinde olağan belirleyiciler; Burgazada sokak fragmanları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada edebiyat ve mimarlığın hem üretim hem deneyim sürecinde insanla benzer ilişkiler kuran anlatılar oldukları düşüncesinden yola çıkılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda önce sahip oldukları ortaklıklar edebiyat-mimarlık ilişkisi başlığı altında incelenmiş, burada metin ve mekânın birer anlatı, yazar ve mimarın birer anlatıcı olarak insanla kurdukları ilişkiler ele alınmıştır. Bu ortaklıklarla beraber metin ve mekânın birbirine dönüşme halleri incelenmiştir. Teorik olarak ele alınan ilişki ve kavramlar, gündelik hayatın içinde insanın çevresiyle ilişkileri üzerinden okunmuştur. Tez kapsamında metin ve mekânın birlikte anlatı kuracakları kesit-metin düzlemi üretilmiştir. Bu kesit-metinlerle insanın çevresindeki anlatılarla ilişkisine, çevresiyle bağlarına, insanın bu ilişkideki rolüne dair bir okuma yapılmıştır. Sonuçta görülmüştür ki, mekanla kurulan ilişki işlevci yaklaşım ile sağlanamamaktadır. Bununla birlikte deneyimin tesadüfi gerçekleşmesi de söz konusu değildir. Mimarın bu iki nokta arasında ilişkilere ve dönüşüme açık olması önemlidir.In this study, it is pivoted on the idea that literature and architecture are narratives that establish similar relations with people in the process of production and experience. In this context, firstly, their resemblances are analyzed under the title of literature-architecture relationship. Afterwards, on the one hand, the relations of text and space with people as narratives are discussed and on the other hand, the relations of author and architect with people as narrators are discussed. With these similarities, the transformation of text and space into each other has been scrutinized. Theoretically discussed relations and concepts were read through the relations between people and those around them in daily life. Within the scope of the thesis, a section-text plane was produced for the text and space to construct a narrative together. With these section-texts, a reading was made about the relationship of people with the narratives around them, their connections with those around them as well as their surroundings, and, the role of people in this relationship. As a result, it has been seen that the relationship established with the space cannot be achieved only with a functional approach. However, the experience is not accidental. It is important that the architect is open to relations and transformation between these two points.
